Meet Dr. Ortiz

Dr. Ana loves practicing orthodontics and enjoys seeing how beautiful smiles thrill her patients. The ability to create exceptional orthodontic outcomes and to develop lifelong relationships with her patients are things Dr. Ana feels very fortunate she can provide. She is dedicated to her patients and ensuring that their feelings and concerns are heard and that they are treated like family.

At the age of six, Dr. Ana started playing the violin. She studied the violin through college, and highlights of her career as a violinist were performing with the Arizona Opera and Ray Charles. Along the way, Dr. Ana composed music, too, but she has found that her true talent is in composing beautiful smiles!

Dr. Ana grew up in Chandler, Arizona, and attended Arizona State University (Go Devils!) before attending dental school at UCLA. In an effort to experience dentistry and a completely different area of the country, Dr. Ana moved to Connecticut where she completed her orthodontic training at the University of Connecticut.

After several years away studying dentistry and orthodontics, Dr. Ana is happy to be back home in Arizona with her family. In her free time, Dr. Ana enjoys running, skiing, hiking, and spending time in the mountains with her family.

It is important to Dr. Ana that she treats her patients with the latest techniques in orthodontics. In an effort to keep up with the latest technologies, Dr. Ana attends courses regularly and meets locally with orthodontic study clubs to discuss treatment with her colleagues.

Dr. Ana maintains memberships with the American Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, and the Arizona Dental Association.
